Defining the ideal policy framework for early cancer care
Information
This insight session will introduce the Mission Early Declaration on Early Cancer Care, a forward-looking and consensus-based call to action to engage the global community around the creation of an international policy framework to help ensure effective and consistent early cancer care for all.
We will also hear from the authors of the research informing the Mission Early Declaration, who will discuss new findings on the economic case for early detection and treatment of cancer, and what makes the ideal policy framework for consistent and effective cancer care.
We will then conduct a panel discussion to explore how these insights and recommendations can be locally adapted and implemented to build and enhance effective early cancer care policy frameworks across the globe. The discussion will then be opened to the audience to incorporate additional patient, physician and advocacy perspectives.
