Objectives
This session will explore how low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) can harness digital technologies to improve cancer care – from training of healthcare professionals - to diagnosis and care delivery. The panel of esteemed cancer experts will discuss the challenges with integrating digital technologies in cancer care, such as regulatory barriers, lack of infrastructure, and acceptance by healthcare professionals and patients. During the discussion, the panel and the participants will also explore solutions, including possible policy actions that governments can take to overcome these barriers, unlock the power of digital technologies, and ultimately, expand equitable access to high-quality cancer care for all.
