Information
Childhood cancer is highly curable. In high-income countries, over 80% of children who develop cancer survive, whereas in low-income countries survival rates are often under 30%. World Child Cancer works with national and international partners to redress that inequity and to improve the chances for children with cancer in under-resourced countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America to survive and thrive. We help them to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, financial and emotional support to improve equitable access to treatment, training of healthcare workers, and advocacy.
