Policy engagement is central to Cancer Research UK’s mission. CRUK leverages rigorous scientific evidence to influence government policy, championing transformative measures in tobacco control, early diagnosis, and HPV vaccination. The International Cancer Prevention (ICP) programme supports civil society organisations and research institutions in multiple low- and middle-income countries, building local advocacy capacity and driving evidence-based legislation that promotes Tobacco Control and HPV prevention.
