Objectives
Cross-sector collaboration in cancer care is crucial for addressing the increasing burden of cancer and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). When they are well established, these collaborations can be a powerful tool to support local stakeholders in addressing gaps in healthcare systems, by mobilizing resources, expertise, and innovations. Cross-sector collaborations can significantly enhance access to quality cancer care and contribute to the broader goal of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).Despite their importance, structuring these collaborations in healthcare presents challenges. Coordinating diverse actors from various geographies, with different levels of resources & experience,  and potentially competing interests and approaches, can be difficult. There is a need for new evidence and blueprints of successful multi-sectoral collaborations to instill confidence and encourage more partners to engage, including at local level.Join us for an engaging session on harnessing cross-sector collaboration to transform cancer care in LMICs. Explore real-world case studies, learn from a panel of experts, and participate in interactive discussions on best practices in collaboration frameworks and tools. This session is designed to equip NGOs, government officials, academia, private sector leaders, and healthcare providers committed to making a difference in global health.
