« Expertise France, the French public international cooperation agency, designs and implements projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda and France's external action priorities. Despite progress in poverty reduction and access to health and education, global inequalities persist, exacerbated by climate change and emerging conflicts. In this context, public policies are crucial for sustainable development and inequality reduction.
Supported by UNITAID, Expertise France is implementing the SUCCESS project, which focuses on combating cervical cancer through secondary prevention. The project targets women at high risk, aiming to prevent cancer progression in those with HPV infections and precancerous lesions by improving HPV detection and treatment. SUCCESS is being implemented in Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, the Philippines, and Guatemala—regions with limited resources where over 85% of cervical cancer deaths occur. »
